What started as “something to do during nap time” for Audrey Blanchard has, 12 years later, turned into a lucrative small business with style for days! Audrey knew she wanted to be a stay-at-home mom with her kids, but she still wanted to tap into a creative outlet by creating handmade baby headbands and accessories. As her kids grew, so did her business, and she branched into the world of women’s accessories, bringing her shop, Aili’s Corner, to life—and to Jane!

“We specialize in on-trend women's accessories with an emphasis on bags.”

How did you decide to become a small business owner?

“I was looking for something I could do from home to stay home with my kids.”

Why do you love being a small business owner?

“I love the flexibility being a business owner gives me. I love that I can set my own schedule and work around the demands of being a mom. I also love the creativity aspect being in women's accessories.”

Are you currently working on any new projects or products?

“Our fall bag line has some fun athleisure vibes I'm really loving!”

What or who inspires you?

“My husband and my kids are my inspiration.”
