A Family Affair—Meet Christy Sanchez
Christy Sanchez's life has had so many chapters she's been told she could write a book! After receiving her Associate of Science and Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering, she decided to step away from engineering and step into her most rewarding role yet—parenthood.
Her first accomplishment is her family of 11 (that's 9 kids, 3 boys, and 6 girls), and the second is her business, DBC Baby Bedding Co. Now, her business is back on Jane and ready to provide expecting parents with the best baby products on the market.
What can our community find in your shop?
'We will be featuring our best-selling bedding sets, nursery coordinates, toddler to adult blankets, and home decor."
What does a typical "day in your life" look like?
"A typical day in my life looks like getting up, getting coffee, and then functioning. Coffee is my warm happiness. Next is to take my vitamins and eat breakfast. Then, get my younger girls set up on school, get orders and ship lists for the day, and head off to the production facility. Work all day, get orders shipped, and then head out to get groceries. Finally, make dinner with the family, eat dinner, sit relax, and drink more coffee!! The day is full... every day."
What or who inspires you?
"I would say both my Grandmother's. They were amazing ladies. Both had 8 children, they were born in 1910, and they lived in a time with no conveniences. They made all the meals, they worked the farm, and my one grandmother worked the logging business with my grandpa. My other grandma sewed all her kid's clothing, crocheted, tatted, and knit their blankets. Just amazing ladies that both inspired me.❤️"
"Being a parent is so very important to me, and this is one thing that drives me."
What is your favorite thing in your shop at the moment?
"All my new designs. Designing is what I do, and bringing together new styles to stay ahead is my favorite. And that is what my customers love."

What's one thing you absolutely cannot live without?
"Coffee. Black. No additives. Just pure coffee."
